By Profit-sharing and Direct Donations of our products created by collaborators who choose to designate a percentage of sales through Salish Sisters to non-profit organizations that align with our purpose and goals of conservation of the Salish Sea, have proven track records of effectiveness and financial transparency. *Ours is a new venture and the Non-profits benefitting are currently under review to be revealed soon. Suggestions welcome.

OUR REGION OF THE WORLD ~ THE SALISH SEA
The Salish Sea, a rich tapestry of waterways, graces the Pacific Coast of North America, nestled between Washington State and British Columbia. It encompasses the Strait of Georgia, the Strait of Juan de Fuca, and Puget Sound, weaving together an intricate network of channels and fjords. From the Discovery Islands in the north to Budd Inlet in the south, the Salish Sea is a vibrant and vital ecosystem.
This rich and vibrant ecosystem is home to 37 species of mammals, 172 species of birds, 253 species of fish, and more than 3,000 species of invertebrates. Nearly eight million people make this region their home today while billions of dollars are generated annually by Salish Sea commercial and recreational activities.
